Product Overview

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) sheet is a tough, impact-resistant plastic commonly used in industrial, commercial, and trade applications. Available in black and white, it offers excellent durability, moisture resistance, and reliable performance in demanding environments.

We supply HDPE sheet in black (UV stabilised) and white, available as full sheets or cut to size, with CNC routing and machining available to suit your drawings. HDPE is widely specified where strength, wear resistance, and ease of fabrication are required.

Colour & Grade Selection

Black HDPE

• Carbon black stabilised for improved UV resistance
• Suitable for outdoor and exposed environments
• Commonly used in mining, infrastructure, aquaculture and industrial settings

Natural (White) HDPE

• Clean appearance for visible or hygienic applications
• Commonly specified for food handling, processing, and wear surfaces
• Suitable for indoor use or protected outdoor installations

If food contact compliance is required, confirm grade requirements prior to ordering.

Machining, Fixing & Fabrication Notes (Barrier Removal)

• Machining: Can be cut, drilled, and routed using standard woodworking or CNC equipment.
• Bonding: HDPE is difficult to glue. Mechanical fixing is recommended.
• Fixing: Allow for thermal expansion when installing over larger spans.
• Custom Fabrication: Sheets can be supplied cut to size, CNC profiled, or machined to your drawing.

Limitations & Important Notes

• Not suitable for solvent bonding but can be welded
• Higher thermal expansion than rigid plastics
• White HDPE has lower UV resistance than black grades
